Dante’s Inferno (PS3) is a third‑person action‑adventure hack‑and‑slash game loosely inspired by the first part of Dante Alighieri’s classic poem The Divine Comedy. Players control Dante, a hardened Knight Templar who, after returning from the Crusades, discovers that his beloved Beatrice’s soul has been taken to Hell by Lucifer. To save her, Dante descends through the nine circles of Hell, battling grotesque demons, monstrous bosses, and his own past sins along the way.
